Hiding Wifi Network || SSID || Name.

Hello Viewers 😊😊 !!!

            This is the first post written by me to provide some Tips and Tricks about the technology. In this post we are going to see how to hide our wifi network ? If you are reading this post means you also facing some problems that I faced long ago like some people in your residential area use your wifi without your permission or may be someone is continuously attack on your network  or may be some one hack your password each time you change. Obviously no one like if any one is using their network without their permission. 

            

There are two option to block a person from your network . 

1. Mac Filtering
2. Hiding Network

In this post we are going to see the second method that is how you can hide the network so no one can find your network . First method shown above we cover in the another post so you can subscribe to our page to get notification when ever we post new posts. Now we start with the steps to hide network.

Follow the below steps carefully ! 

Note :  All  the steps mention below is perform on a tp-link routers so if you have any other routers their steps may be different.

STEP 1 :-  Connect To Your Network

• You can connect to your network via Ethernet cable or a connect to your wifi.
• I suggest you to connect your laptop via Ethernet cable.

STEP 2 :- Start  Your Browser And Search

• double click on browser and start you favorite browser .
• At search bar type 192.168.0.1 and press enter

STEP 3 :- Login 

• Now you get the window shown below.
• now login by typing username :- admin and password :- admin
• If you changed username and password then type changed password and username.
• Click on login button.

                 

STEP 4 :- Home Page

• Now you are at a home page.
• At left side there is a sidebar . Now click on a wireless option which is at 4th position.

                

STEP 5 : Click On Wireless And Hide Network

• Now go to Wireless -> Basic setting
• Main page is open at middle section.
• Uncheck the box name with Network SSID.
• Save the setting.                                                                                                                             

 . 

• Now your network get hidden and all the user connected to your network get disconnect

STEP 6 :- How to Connect To Hidden Network

• At windows right bottom taskbar you have a wifi icon click on that.
• Now new small window get open .
• At new window you have a option of Hidden Network click on that
• Now enter your network name or SSID and click on connect.
• Now enter your password to connect to your network.

• Now you have all done your network is hidden and no one can connect to your network without your permission.
